Able to work on all types of drag cars (motors, trannys, blowers, nos, chassis, rear ends, etc.), as well as able to fabricate things from scratch or drawings. Must be able to weld (mig, tig,& gas). Looking for someone who has motivation, neatness, and be able to talk to customers in a very professional manner is a must!

Requirements:

Manager, Content Communications – NASCAR (Daytona Beach, FL)

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join our Integrated Marketing Communications team in the position of Manager, Content Communications based in our Daytona Beach, FL, office.

NASCAR’s Manager, Content Communications, will be responsible for the overall management and strategy for NASCAR’s home media website – NASCARMedia.com – and primary supervisor for day-to-day updating and maintenance of the site, including some weekends working from Daytona Beach and from the race track. Assisting with the direct development of an editorial content calendar and creating and implementing new and expanded features for the website, including podcasts, videos, widgets, photo galleries, social media and other creative enhancements. Serving as day-to-day supervisor for junior executives.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Primary day-to-day manager of NASCARmedia.com maintenance vendor, American Eagle.

Assist with direct development of an editorial content calendar and creating and implementing new and expanded content for the website such as podcasts, video, widgets, photo galleries, social media and other creative enhancements.
Serve as day-to-day manager for junior executives; responsible for their growth and development.

Supervise development of video and audio for media use, including live streaming video.

Create and distribute monthly Content Communications monitoring reports, as well as manage relationships with monitoring services including TV Eyes and Cision.

Work with track media facilities to ensure all of them meet NASCAR Integrated Marketing Communications standards and guidelines. Assist with track facilities planning.

Assist with all Content Communications needs in the Integrated Marketing Communications Department, including photography needs each week, as well as provide proactive media relations support.

Assist NASCAR Statistics personnel with its work including Network Operating System (NOS) and database maintenance.

Assist with managing relationships with media partners, including NASCAR.com, STATS and Getty Images.

Assist, when needed, with other Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Content Communications responsibilities.

Approximate travel 45 percent, including weekends.
Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four- (4) year college or university; or five (5) years Public Relations or Internet experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
