Position Purpose
The Manager of Consumer Insights & Analytics will manage and further develop Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway Brand Standards.  The Manager of Consumer Insights & Analytics will manage all Marketing data, reporting, and analysis in an effort to shape and inform the BU’s Strategic Plan and its marketing agenda and programming tactics, TikTok for business.  This position will work very closely with ISC’s Consumer Insights team, as well as NASCAR’s Market Research team, to fully leverage company / industry resources and best practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities:
    • Leverage ISC and NASCAR resources in the areas of market research, insights, data and analytics to drive consumer programming decisions
    • Serve as the BU lead on gathering and sharing analysis of consumer behavior, marketing trends and performance
    • Responsible for GEM survey, including development and implementation of strategic plans to improve fan experience
    • Liaison with Marketing Agency relationships to analyze and understand campaign performance, while also working with ISC personnel to provide reporting
    • Maintain all Marketing databases including budget management tracking
    • Manage and execute focus groups, surveys, and other insights-driven programming in conjunction with various BU stakeholders
    • Manage Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway Fan Councils

  • On-Site Event Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for performing pre-assigned event related duties, including but not limited to the following:
      • Pre-race elements and coordination with production company
      • Marketing credential needs including vendors, fans/winners, entertainers
      • Design, set up  and execution of marketing display areas, such as, Kid’s Club, Route 66 Raceway, Social Hub, First Time Fan Zone, Infield Fan Zone
      • Talent management
      • Staff and volunteer management
      • Fan Engagement Programs

Qualifications

The person in this role will cold call, prospect, pitch, negotiatie, close revenue opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Acquire new clients, grow revenue from existing clients and strengthen customer relationships
  • Prospect, establish, research, and close corporate partnerships, suites/hospitality and ticket sales through cold-calling, appointments, and networking
  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly corporate revenue and prospecting goals
  • Maintain high level of customer service to existing and new corporate clients
  • Attend networking events, dinners and community events
  • Work closely with Daytona International Speedway sales team and other International Speedway Corporation sales staff
  • Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Director of Sales

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in Sales/Marketing/Sports Management
  • A passion for sales and customer development
  • Detail oriented, with exceptional communication and presentation skills (telephone and in-person) Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external clients at all levels of the applicable organizations
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Results oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required
  • Strong computer skills in all aspects of Microsoft Office and ACT Database Management
  • Must be a team player, self-starter, persistent and professional
