The Consumer Marketing Coordinator will assist with the development and implementation of consumer marketing and communications plans, promotions, and other strategic projects.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
Hours will vary but will include evenings, weekends, holidays, and long days on event days and nights.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Work on design, coordination and monitoring of all digital communications including email marketing and social media
• Help Consumer Marketing/Promotions team with ad campaigns and media buys
• Coordinate media value add promotions
• Help coordinate and produce all marketing collateral, including print and online advertising, brochures, sales materials, event collateral, signage, and special projects
• Aid in sponsor promotions and help promote ticket sales and sponsor activation
• Develop social media strategies and content
• Assist with pre-race and post-race ceremonies
• Help organize departmental logistics for events
• Develop and aid in post-event follow-up, research and recap reports
• Other duties as required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

 Professional:

• Minimum of 3 years experience and related college degree required
• Experience with digital marketing, content management systems and web publishing systems preferred
• Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft applications, and ability to quickly learn required ticketing and customer relationship management software.  Adobe Photoshop or other graphic arts software experience preferred
